Hoover Angus home for over 6 decades. Typical of most Rewards, K43 is a low birth
weight female. She is a soggy made female.

Dam Z26 is a bigger framed cow with lots of length, and the typical huge ribeye of
Neutron. Z26 scanned a whopping 15.4” ribeye as a yearling heifer! Z26 is a good
mother and a nice cow to handle at calving time.

A full brother to Z26 sold to repeat customer Dr. Palmer, and he reports good calves.

Grandam L788 was one of Joy’s favorite cows, and recorded 7-109 WR with a
superb 359 day calving interval when we lost her to injury.

K310 is a moderate sized heifer out of a moderate framed, easy keeping Famous
daughter with a nice udder. Easy fleshing females tend to be more profitable because
they stay in better body condition during stressful periods and are more likely to get
re-bred. K310 is deep bodied, big topped and feminine.

When K310 was born, we didn’t even have her mother up in the lot to calve. The calf
was born out in the pasture, and we walked momma and her extremely lively baby
up to the barn to process it.

K119 is a very pretty CC&7 heifer, typical of the great CC&7 X Gridiron cross. She
is a tick above average on frame, but has lots of depth and rib for her size. She is
correct, feminine, and long bodied.

A full sister to K119 works in the herd, and her first calf this past year was a nice
Counselor heifer.

Dam C43 is one of the prettiest cows on the farm. She is thick quartered and big
topped, yet very feminine fronted. Her +.78 Ribeye EPD, and 13.9” ribeye scan as a
yearling heifer is proof of superior muscling!

C43’s progeny have sold to Max Shaffer, Dick Bissell, and Mike Carlson, all repeat
customers.

A full brother to C43 was a feature bull in our 2009 auction selling to Hawleys Gen
X Angus for $6000.

until over 17 years of age, and the day she went to town, she walked just as smooth
as what she did when she was half that age. She ended her career with a whopping
110 wean ratio on her progeny! Her last daughter earned Pathfinder status.
