Sire Acceleration was the bull we selected as our top Gridiron son out of one of the
premier cow families at Hoover Angus. Acceleration’s dam produced 7 natural sons
that grossed over $58,000, averaging $8400! She is the only cow in the herd (to my
knowledge) that has produced four sons at $10,000 or more. X78 ended her career
with 10-95 BWR, 10-109 WR, a 361 day calving interval, and a perfect udder.

Kylie Pendleton and Brian Birchmier. Kylie reports that her heifer is very tame and
can be petted any time, anywhere.

I love breeding females that are deep, broody, thick made with some muscle shape
in them, yet are feminine, pretty fronted, and good uddered. Add a good disposition
in there, and that combination is often a tall order. D15 fits it perfectly though! The
beef business in America would be in darn good shape if we all had cow herds
made like D15!

Pathfinder grandam P64 produced until 15 years of age and had a 360 day calving
interval! Her 8 sons that came to auction averaged $3400. That might not sound like
much today, but for a 1995 model cow, that’s darn good. When her first son sold,
bulls in our sale averaged $1537!
