★ ★ L22 sells as a sale attraction, and the only reason we allow her to sell is because
her full sister, K11, is a replacement in the herd coming with her first calf in February.
K11 scanned a whopping 15.3” ribeye, ratio 133 to earn a Ribeye EPD of +1.20! For
comparison, the top 1% of the breed for non-parent females is only +.97. K11 ties as
having the 2nd highest Ribeye EPD among all Hoover Dam daughters nation-wide!
★ ★ L22 is among the top 100 non-parent females of the breed for Ribeye and
Docility EPDs with her accuracy. Factor in a Scrotal EPD of +.80 or higher, and
the list narrows to two females!
★ ★ L22 is really long bodied, deep ribbed, feminine fronted, and huge topped with
excellent muscle shape and quarter!
★ ★ L22 was the 12th top weaning weight heifer calf of the crop, and undoubtedly the
thickest heifer of the entire crop! She may be the tamest heifer also! She will come
up to visitors in the middle of the pasture just to get some attention.
★ ★ Pathfinder dam C355 has well earned her spot among the elite in the Hoover herd!
Her first daughter achieved Pathfinder status.

★ ★ C355 is a true muscle cow. She began by scanning a 13.8” ribeye as a yearling heifer,
the biggest in her contemporary group, then has passed these ribeye genetics on
to her progeny, averaging a 107 ribeye ratio. One set of twins is not included in her
birth, wean and yearling ratios by the AAA, but are included in her ultrasound ratios.
★ ★ C355 is a fertile cow with a 359 day calving interval. C355 weaned at 705 lbs., WR
119, YW 1038 lbs., YR 118.
★ ★ Pathfinder grandam A345 is yet another high ribeye female, scanning a 15.5” ribeye
as a yearling. A345 is the herd’s 2nd top ribeye ratio cow with 7-114 ribeye ratio. A345
is among the nation’s top 15 dams for $YG, proof of high cutability and high red meat
yield! Her $YG is nearly $4 above the top 1% of the breed.
★ ★ Besides muscle, A345 puts a nice look in her progeny – like the feature heifer
daughter Lyle Olson selected from our 2012 sale for $5000. A345 maintains a 358
day calving interval.
