FALL BRED HEIFERS
AI to Hoover Emperor on 11-22-12. Pasture exposed to Connealy Direct Deposit
from 12-6-12 on. Ultrasound safe to Emperor, due approximately August 31, 2013.
K418 is a level-topped heifer, and one of the best Total Package heifers of the crop.
She blends the lean muscle growth of her sire with the easy-keeping ability of her
dam. If you have a CC&7 son in your pasture, she would be a nice compliment to
those genetics!
A maternal sister to K418 was the 5
th
high weaning weight heifer calf of her crop and
sold to Doc Nold in South Dakota. D486’s son at auction was selected by Darrell
Wagoner.
Dam D486 has earned Pathfinder status for her solid production record and
excellent calving interval of 356 days. D486’s daughter in the herd raised a $4500
son her first year!
7 Pathfinders are found in this pedigree.
K418 has the lowest BW EPD and is the top CED fall heifer selling!

AI to Hoover Emperor on 11-22-12. Pasture exposed to Connealy Direct Deposit
from 12-6-12 on. Ultrasound safe to Emperor, due approximately August 31, 2013.
This female comes from a great line of cows. K439’s maternal sister has served as
a donor, and she is a great disposition, beautiful uddered female.
Dam E43 was the first cow ever flushed at Hoover Angus. Besides her daughter that
serves as a donor, E43 has two daughters (one ET and one natural) raising their
first calves this fall.
E43 has brought two excellent sons to auction, each selling for $6500 or more! One
was a photo feature. She is truly a herd bull maker! E43 maintains a 364 day calving
interval, and that even includes stealing a flush and breeding her right back!
Grandam earned Pathfinder status and had two sons selling for $10,000+. She
recorded 11-109 WR at the end of her career.

Fall heifers will not sell unless they can be assured ultrasound
safe in calf. At the time of cataloging, time was still too short
for ultrasound results on all animals.
There’s many stories about David going to Alabama to pick up
the 4630. . . It’s a long trip home when you start the trip with 2
blowouts (tires didn’t appear weather checked). Needing 2 tires,
it’s Saturday afternoon, the tractor is too tall to clear the cement
bridges, and the tractor is over-width. Alabama is very strict!
But David’s most important advice: don’t ever run low on gas in
Memphis,TN in the middle of the night!
