A different pedigree here for many of our repeat customers, L9 has been a gentle
guy all his life. He can carry on the tradition of disposition excellence CC&7 sons
have brought to your herd. L9 is a nice fronted, deep bodied bull with lots of rib.
Read more about sire Hemisphere on page 33.
Dam “Niner”. . . where to start? Her last 6 sons to come to auction have ALL been
photo features, and have averaged $5800! Several of these sons have been among
the top 10 weaning weight bull calves of their crop. Very astute cattlemen have
purchased Niner’s 7 sons: Jim Bradford, Dennis Faust, Darrell Vincent, Michael
Murphy, Larry Peace, Cort Jaeschke, and Henry Langstraat. I could write a book
about Niner’s production, but if a cow in our herd can raise 6 photo feature bull
calves in a row, you know she has to be one of the elite!
Niner’s daughter in the herd raised the excellent bull calf lot 7. Niner’s second daughter
is going into the replacement herd and will calve this February. She is a tank!
Niner is still going strong at nearly 13 years of age with a 355 day calving interval.
A set of twins is not included by the AAA in Niner’s BWR, WWR, and YWRs in the
boxes above, but they are included in her ultrasound ratios.
Grandam J353 raised 3 of the top 10 weaning weight heifer calves of their respective
crops, including a full sister to Niner weaning at 825 lbs. to be the #1 WW heifer in
2003 (when J353 was 13 years old)!
Recommended for use on cows.

The 9
th
top adjusted weaning weight bull calf of the crop! L19 is a big growth bull that
is clean fronted, deep, and super thick. The Counselor sons have excellent scrotal
size, and this guy is no exception.
All of L19’s EPDs printed rank between the top 1-30% of the breed, except for $EN,
which is an index most cattlemen prefer to have negative scores. I’ve already had
inquiries about L19 from people who have sorted EPDs on the Angus website.
Counselor sons like this one might give Counselor the edge of being the top-selling
sire group in this year’s crop. We are very pleased with his first crop, even though it
was not very big. We will have a much larger crop in 2013.
Dam G205 ties as the 8
th
top indexing cow of the Hoover herd with a whopping 3-114
WR! She should easily meet the strict qualifications for the Pathfinder report that will
come out about a week after our sale. G205 has a 351 day calving interval.
G205’s first daughter weaned at 790 lbs. to be the #1 weaning weight heifer calf of
her crop! This female is in the herd and just weaned her first calf. Both G205 and
her daughter have two of the best dispositions in the entire herd! They are great to
work with!
Grandam Z80 just weaned bull calf lot 56 at 11 years of age, and she maintains a
362 day calving interval on 10 progeny! Read more about this super gentle cow in
lot 56’s footnote.
L19 ties as the #1 highest CED EPD and 3
rd
lowest BW EPD yearling bull to sell.
He has the 4
th
top $W Value in the yearling bull division, which will ensure calf crop
profitability.
