30-35 Open Angus Heifers
The Dunlops are back at Angus Partners with another top-notch set of April and May born commercial Angus
open heifers. These Angus-Sourced tagged heifers have brood cow written all over them. Feedback from the
set of heifers they sold last year has been excellent. They have developed into forage efficient, easy fleshing,
beef cows. This set is bred the same and have an abundance of natural thickness, depth of body, and brood
cow potential. They are sired by sons of 4X13, Mc Cumber Tradition 383, and Sinclair Entreprenuer 8R101
the Rito 707 son that sired the top selling sire group at the 2012 Mc Cumber Sale. The Dunlop’s consistently
buy top end bulls out of dams with superb fertility, udder quality, and fleshing ability. Their cowherd is heavily
influenced for multiple generations by Mc Cumber genetics and they have been buying bulls from Mc Cumber
for 15 years. The heifers have been on the Select Vac program, are poured, Bangs vaccinated, and PG’ed open.
The Dunlops have selected and bred cattle with the ability to perform in a forage environment. These heifers
represent an excellent opportunity to purchase forage efficient, easy fleshing females that are bred to make
cows.
