25 Bred Angus Heifers
Mike is bringing the top end of his bred heifers to the sale this year. All of these heifers were purchased from
Thompson Angus. Thompsons have a herd that is known for high performance and high growth genetics. The
heifers are sired by Pete’s owned herd sire and ABS roster member Connealy Impression, as well as Hoover
Dam and Upward. The heifers are bred to a Game Day son out of Chisum’s dam and a Sitz Rainmaker 6536 son
out of a good Alliance 3313 daughter. Mike’s heifers are on a complete vaccination program. The heifers are
PGed and due March 1 for 30 days. They should weight 1100-1200 lbs by sale day. Look these heifers up if you
need a top set of bred heifers.

The Volks have consigned to the Angus Partners Sale from the very start, always bringing to town an elite set
of heifers. This years tight calving group of quiet, home raised bred heifers is no exception. They are bred right,
and have a powerful genetic background with the likes of Chisum 6175, Freightliner, Sitz Upward, and Traveler
004. The heifers are bred to the ever popular calving ease sons from McCumbers Sinclair Extra 4X13, (BW
EPD -1.3) and Spicklers R A Lincoln, (BW EPD -3.5). The heifers were given Vira-Shield 6-VL5, Dectomax,
and their first Scour Bos 9 shot when worked in November. Full sister mates to these heifers that calved at
Volk Ranch last spring all did so unassisted. They raised a very nice calf and all are bred back to calve spring
of 2014! Buy with confidence knowing there is 37 years of strict culling and generations of powerful genetics

AIed to Summit and will be sorted as such. Joe has a complete herd health program and the heifers are up to
