This group of black and baldie heifers represents a great opportunity to acquire cutting edge genetics from
Roger Simon. These heifers are out of the front end of his home raised replacements. They have been culled
for quality and are a uniform group. The harvest data on Roger’s cattle for the last 4 years on over 1000 head
enrolled in the NHTC program is 97% choice or prime. The Angus genetics are from Sitz Alliance and Sitz
Upward. The Hereford genetics include Dakota Lad grandsons from Mrnaks. This set of baldie heifers were all
AIed to the Spickler raised, Select Sires stud bull, S Summit 956. His progeny start life small and really grow.
Summit’s dam is a Pathfinder with a weaning ratio of 4/114. The baldie heifers are due March 10 for 14 days
and will all have Summit calves. The black heifers are bred to 3 Game Day sons from Spicklers. 25 will calve
March 10 to March 31 and 20 will calve April 1 to April 21. This is the top end of the Simon Bred heifers.

85 Black Baldy Bred Heifers due March 15. Ultrasounded for calving
Derek is bringing an excellent set of black baldy bred heifers sired by Topp Polled Hereford bulls. They are a
very fertile group of heifers that bred up well. Derek selected these heifers from two different herds using Topp
bulls. The heifers were synchronized and AI ed to S Summit 956, a proven calving ease sire from Select Sires.
The Summit daughters are excellent young cows with near perfect udders and ratioed 108 on their first set of
calves. The pasture sires that were used after AI are out of S Rainmaker 9216, one son is from Spickler’s Gloria
cow family and one is from the Jestra cow family. These heifers will make excellent cows and the maternal
genetics of their calves is second to none.

50 F1 Black Baldy one iron heifers due April 1 for 60 days,
Fred has brought an excellent, big stout set of heifers to the Angus Partners sale this year. This group of F1
baldy heifers was raised by Duane Smith whose herd is influenced by Angus genetics from Spickler, Tokach,
and Fast. They are all sired by Fred’s L1 Hereford bulls and are bred to a powerful, light birth son of RA
Lincoln from Spicklers and an Alliance 3313 grandson. They are on a complete vaccination program and have
been poured. This group should weigh 1100 lbs. or more by sale day.
