Lot 20 - Lonnie and Carolyn Anderson – Rugby, ND
(H): 701-583-2256
Consignment:
12-16 Black Bred Heifers due to calve March 25 for 60 days
The Anderson consignment features 12-16 reputation black bred heifers that are half- sisters to Lonnie’s popular
and top selling bred heifers in past Angus Partner’s sales. They have been using Mc Cumber bulls for many
years and have a productive, easy fleshing cowherd. The Anderson’s have focused on breeding easy calving,
problem-free cattle that perform on forage. Lonnie retains his own females, and maintains a closed cowherd.
His cowherd would be sired by sons of Right Time, Total Value, New Day, VRD, Rainmaker and Missing
Link. The heifers were bred to a +11 Calving Ease Direct, -1.1 BW EPD son of 0CC Tremendous 619T.
The Anderson’s buy top end bulls that have calving ease and performance bred in. The bred heifers are on a
complete vaccination program and are Bangs vaccinated. They had Virashield 6 VL5 this fall, along with Scour
Bos 9 and Ivermectin pour-on. The heifers are freeze branded and would make an excellent addition to any
herd. They are the cow-making kind.
