15 Open Angus Heifers
Crimmins Angus is offering a nice set of heifers to the 2013 Angus Partners sale. These heifers are all AI sired
by S Elevate 9165, the 2010 high selling bull from Spicklers. Elevate’s dam is a near perfect uddered daughter
of Connealy Forecast. These heifers are all born in mid March, are PG’ed open and carry no brand. Jim’s
heifers are on a complete vaccination program with spring and fall shots. This group of black heifers will raise
heavy steer calves and top quality replacements.

30-35 Black and Black Baldy Open Heifers
Dan and Darla Armstrong are bringing another top set of open heifers, right from the heart of their replacement
pen. They have been bred with performance in mind, but Dan and Darla maintain a set of high volume, easy
fleshing, stout made, cows that are expected to thrive in a forage environment. These March and April born
heifers will be weighing 650 + lbs. by sale day. The powerfully built Armstrong heifers are slick hided,
bunk broke, hand fed and easy to handle. Disposition is a top priority for the Armstrongs. The Angus-based
cowherd is heavily influenced by Mc Cumber genetics with females purchased from Joe Bohl, as well as heifers
purchased out of the Angus Partners sale. The heifers are sired by sons of Sitz Emulation EXT 536P, Sinclair
Extra 4x13, and Mc Cumber Hard Drive 7150. The heifers are on the Select Vac Program and were vaccinated
at birth with Alpha 7 and Triangle 4 PHK. They were weaned early and are poured with Dectomax, Bangs
Vaccinated and PG’ed open by a vet.

Lemer Angus Ranch from Drake is again consigning an outstanding set of open Angus heifers. Mitch is no
stranger to this sale or good cattle, and his offering this year is no exception. His March and April born heifers
are direct AI daughters of Chisum and HA Program as well as being sired by a Foresight son and a really good
Coleman Traveler son. Mitch has been AI breeding for 13 years and has built a very elite cowherd. These heifers
are bangs vaccinated, and are on a complete vaccination program. This set of females will make excellent cows.
