Lot 46 - Trent Schneider, Hebron, ND
(C): 701-290-4596
Consignment:
25 Black Open Heifers
Be sure to find this outstanding Schneider consignment, which features 25 Black Open Heifers. Trent considers
this set of heifers to be one of the best heifer calf crops he has bred. I think you will appreciate the stoutness,
depth of body, and natural thickness these April born heifers possess. They are sired by a moderate framed,
long bodied, heavy muscled son of OCC Tremendous 619T, who was brought back to Mc Cumber to be used
as a herd bull. His dam will enter the Mc Cumber embryo program, and is considered by Matt to be an ideal
Angus cow. They are also sired by a powerful Right Time son from Best Angus whose dam was one of the top
Mc Cumber Foundation 701 daughters ever bred at Mc Cumber. The Schneider cowherd is productive, easy
fleshing, fertile, and has been selected to be this way for many generations. These Bangs vaccinated gals have
had all their shots. They have been vaccinated with Triangle 4 PHK, Ultrabac 7/w Somnus, and poured with
Ivermectin. This stout set of heifers will get your attention.
Lot 47 - Chuck and Laurie Volk Family, Rugby ND
(H): 701-542-3271, (C):701-208-1555
Consignment:
40 Solid Black Open Heifers
Chuck and Laurie Volk are consigning a draft of 40 open heifers right from the heart of their herd. This set of
heifers is cut from what Chuck and Laurie consider to be the best heifer calf crop they have raised. They are
produced from a predominantly Angus based cowherd with a small Gelbvieh influence. The mid-March to mid-
April born heifers were raised on mama’s milk and grass. Since weaning in early November they have been on
a light growing ration of oat hay, alfalfa, and corn silage. They are a docile, easy to handle set of heifers that are
sired by sons of Sinclair Extra 4X13, Leachman Right Time, OCC Paxton, and Sinclair Entreprenuer 8R101,
who sired the top selling sire group of bulls at the 2012 Mc Cumber Bull Sale. Chuck consistently selects front-
end bulls that are easy calving, high performing with added volume, and thickness. They are slick hided, and
have been on a complete vaccination program. They will have their full round of shots of Bovishield Gold, One
Shot Ultra 7, Bangs, poured with Ivermectin, and PG’ed open by Rugby Vet Service. Make sure to find this
outstanding group of heifers.
