FALL BULLS
★
★
K433 is one of my favorite Journey sons. He is long, deep, big footed, and bigger
framed with plenty of hip and bone.
★
★
Dam D496 is a beautiful beefy cow! As the candid photo above shows, she is a tank!
She maintains an excellent 364 day calving interval.
★
★
D496’s daughter is raising her first calf now in our herd, and this daughter is going
to make a super-stout cow like her mother.
★
★
D496’s individual performance: BW 58 lbs., WW 700 lbs., WR 114, YW 993 lbs., YR
108, IMF 4.24, ratio 100, ribeye 12.4”, ratio 116. She was the 5
th
top weaning weight
heifer calf of her crop.
★
★
Pathfinder grandam A508 has raised two daughters that were in the top 5 adjusted
weaning weight heifers of their respective crops!
★
★
K433 is an excellent growth bull recommended for use on cows. He ties as the 3
rd
top
YW EPD animal selling! He also ties as the 3
rd
high WW EPD among the fall bulls.

K417 has been a leader ever since he was a baby! He tied as the 6
th
top weaning
weight bull of the crop and the #1 Ribeye scan bull! He offers a fresh pedigree for our
repeat customers that have used CC&7, Gridiron and Neutron. He is really deep with
more muscle, quarter, butt and bone than typical calving ease cattle.
★
★
Excitement progeny were the high selling sire group of bulls in our sale last year,
due to excellent progeny like this guy. They are true spread cattle – low birth to high
weaning and yearling weights!
★
★
Dam B501 is a moderate, perfect-uddered female with a 362 day calving interval.
Her progeny have sold to Craigmore Farm in Ontario, Mike Frame, Cort Jaeschke,
and JW Harding. Craigmore’s heifer was a moderate, thick, good quartered heifer. It
takes several weeks to get cattle through the required health tests to enter Canada,
and Wayne Kreklewich of Craigmore Farm thanked us after receiving the females he
purchased in our 2012 sale for keeping the heifers in good condition – something he
said is hard to find when people export animals to Canada.
★
★
Grandam 194 has been retired from the herd for some time, but produced until 13
years of age. She also had a nice udder.
★
★
Four Pathfinders are found in the bottom half of K417’s pedigree. K417 will make
deep ribbed, easy-keeping females.
★
★
Use K417 for a couple years on heifers before moving him to your main herd sire
position. He ties as the 2
nd
lowest BW EPD and 2
nd
highest CED among the fall bulls!
He also has the 4
th
high $W Value in the fall bull division.
