L250 definitely has a notch more frame, has good extension, is long bodied, and
has plenty of rib and guts to go along with his frame and length. He is correct made
and has plenty of muscle.

for daughters’ fertility, but for purebred breeders selling yearling bulls that need to
pass a semen test at one year of age.

Two full sisters to L250 (one ET and one natural calf of C109) will go into the
replacement herd this spring and are due to calve one day apart in February.

I’d label Pathfinder dam C109 as one of our “Top 5” all-time great cows. She is
moderate in size, but always weans a huge calf. In fact, she is the 12
th
top indexing
cow of the Hoover herd with 6-113 WR! She is a working donor. Despite stealing
flushes two separate seasons, she maintains a 366 day calving interval, which will
tighten up significantly in 2013 as she is due with a January calf. As an 8 year-old,
C109 has an excellent udder and wonderful disposition.

C109 is also the herd’s 6
th
top ribeye ratio cow. Her 5 sons have scanned an average
15.3” ribeye, her 4 daughters a 13.3” ribeye. Her Ribeye EPD of +.99 ranks way
above the top 1% of current dams at +.85. She is one of 63 Hoover-owned females
ranking in or above the top 1% of the breed for RE EPD!

A long bodied, big scrotal bull for his age. One of the youngest bulls in the sale, but
he’s backed by a darn good pedigree. He has a little different pedigree for our repeat
customers.

Dam S100 raised this bull calf to 780 pounds at over 15 years of age! What a cow!
A set of twins is not included in her ratios above, and one calf was lost prior to
weaning. She has maintained a 363 day calving interval! One daughter has achieved
Pathfinder status.

S100 is a super deep bodied, easy fleshing cow with a nice udder, even at 15 years
of age. I’ll always remember when she had heifer twins, raised both of them herself
(a total of 1258 pounds of weaning weight in these 2 girls) and bred back after the
twins and calved 17 days earlier the following year.

Grandam Z188 has been gone for many years, but recorded 11-108 WR at the end
of her time.

Sire Storm is a super gentle, high marbling bull. He is a paternal brother to
SydGen Contract 9410, the $65,000 top-selling bull at the 2010 Midland Bull Test.
Storm’s donor dam produced numerous high selling progeny, but her most notable
accomplishment was SydGen Turbo 6684, a featured high growth bull in the ORIgen
bull line-up.
