Cattle Load Out
Please contact the sale personnel if you would like to load
out females following the female sale October 31
st
. We will
make every effort to accommodate load out Sunday morning
November 2
nd
and during the bull and commercial female
sale.
Save Shipping and Handling
You can save shipping and handling charges by picking
up semen that you will need for your fall breeding season
at the Chimney Rock Sale. Representatives from either
GENETRUST or Integrated Breeders will be available Friday
and Saturday to fill your orders. We would ask that you
keep your orders to goblet increments of 5’s or 10’s so that
we can avoid excessive handling of semen. Please contact
GENETRUST at 1-877-436-3877 to place your order prior
to the sale to assure we have enough semen on hand and
available sale day.
Splitting Pairs
Most spring 2014 calves have been weaned and will enter the
ring as pairs. We reserve the right on all confirmed pregnant
cows to split the calves from cows and sell choice. All bull
calf pairs and heifer calves at side of cows not confirmed
pregnant will sell as pairs. There is a tremendous set of heifer
calves at the side of these cows so if there is interest in a
particular A lot please let Vern Suhn or Craig Green know by
the day prior to the sale.
Genetic Condition Policy
As has been the policy since the fall of 13 GENETRUST@
Chimney Rock Cattle Co. Sale all animals who have been
found to be a potential carrier for Developmental
Duplication DD have been tested. Those who
have been confirmed as carriers of this
condition DDC will be so listed
on
our sale day supplemental sheet. If
you
have any questions regarding
this
condition and how it is
inherited please
contact one of the sale
personnel for further
explanation.
