We used 609 on our first calf heifers with no issues, this 412 carried some BW from her parentage. This
bull was born unassisted, I would recommend this bull for breeding heifers.

47 cow is a Cedar Chest daughter; Cedar Chest was the first 46P son we tried. If you talk to Alex Haag,
his Cedar Chest son stays fleshed on air and a little forage, something Greg Golden of Cole Creek expects
of his herd. 47 is a daughter of 7127, a cow that is just an average looking cow with an above average
production record. 7127 is out of a home raised bull, she continually tops the percent weaned category
with her calves. 7127 is fertile and has passed that onto her daughter, 47. 47 cow weaned this 609 son off
at 53% then calved with an interval of 367 days to now be raising her 2nd calf. Blackrose 609 of 234-6148
is a bull we brought back into production because we felt he left us with some very good daughters. The
maternal granddams to Lot 41 and 47 are 609 daughters, who have 2 of the most impressive grandsons
in the offering. Could be used on heifers.

Years back Dad purchased this bull’s sire from Gary Hoffman, of Limestone Angus. This Limestone Prime
Star 828 has left us with some good daughters, take the dam to Lot 54 & 64 for example. Prime Star 828
was a paternal sibling to the dam of Lot 35, a productive cow for Beeby Angus. We lost Prime Star in the
summer of 2015, this could be the last calf he sired on grass. Prime Star 828 was coming 8 and still had
plenty of libido for years to come.
