The first thing that comes to mind when I see this heifer is WOW! Her dam was the high seller in
the 2014 Presser Red Angus sale and what a purchase she has been. We look for great things to
come from this cow. John and Sheldon Laib own this heifer together and have a great partnership
started called DA Squared. Call Steph if you want to know how they came up with the DA Squared
partnership name! With these two partnered together, it should be no surprise to anyone how good
this heifer is. Sheldon’s keen eye for livestock and Johnny’s great knowledge of picking herd sires sure shows up when you look at this one. She is big topped and long spined like every cowman likes
them. This, along with her genetic background, should raise everyone’s eye when they look at her. I simply can’t say enough about this one. Just come look at her on sale day and I bet you will appreciate
her as much as we do.

We decided to use something a little different to AI heifers to than we have in the past. Of course
you know we would still pick something with growth and power even for heifers because after all,
how else do you breed cattle? Her Norseman King dam has plenty of promise for the future and
John is finally getting over Steph pulling rank and keeping a bunch of heifers in our U-Pick-Em
lots in the 2013 sale.

Don’t knock this heifer for her short ears. Her dam decided that she should over-mother her calf
after we had the ears dried up and, as a result, licked them and made them freeze off later. Lot 4 is
the start of the heifers by birthdate order so we will be excited to see which ones you like best. This
heifer is sired by 5L Mountain Sign and out of a direct Rambo 502 x Sodak Chappie dam will make
you a future brood cow.
