flying into Aberdeen and need assistance or transportation
to the ranch, please call. We suggest that if you are interest-
ed in bidding on cattle that you pick out a couple alternate
lots as the cattle will be located 20 miles from the hotel site.
We cannot stress enough that this IS a FAMILY event so
please, bring your spouse and children. The hotel has a pool
and what kids don’t love to dance? We like to travel with
our kids and want you to feel comfortable doing the same if
you so choose.
We know how crazy and hectic everyone’s schedules are
this time of year so if you need assistance with purchas-
ing cattle please give us a call, watch the video, bid on DV
Auction or call one of the sale consultants or auctioneer to
handle your bids.

It seems as though it was just a few short days ago when I
was writing this letter and it has been a whole year. Wow!
Time sure flew. We have had a great year making memories
with the children and friends and living the life we chose.
Time and time again I am reminded how blessed we are to
have our “Red Angus family” around us. We are in the cat-
tle industry but the people we meet and friendships we have
made along the way mean more to us than anything. It is so
nice to know that we can still be competitive against each
other in business and yet in times of need, only a phone call
away! We are truly blessed with your friendships and look
forward to what the future holds for our industry.
This year the sale will be held at the Dakota Event Center
(The DEC) in Aberdeen, South Dakota, as the former hotel
we hosted the sale at, closed. The DEC is located just to
the south of 6th Ave (HWY 12) and west of Target . There
is a physical address in the front of the catalog. There are
two hotels attached to The DEC and also Maverick’s Steak
House. We think you will be more than impressed with the
new facilities and hotel choices.
The cattle will be sorted up in the display pens on Dec. 30
and 31. You are more than welcome to stop any time before
