Cross Diamond Sunday Cattle Drive
This isn’t your typical “cattle drive.” Mind
you-- it’s Sunday, so we’ve combined the Sun-
day drive with the favorite pastime of many in
the industry-- looking at cattle. And there you
have a Sunday Cattle Drive.
The sale cattle are in their pasture lots until
Monday morning. We encourage folks to
come early on Sunday and take a driving tour
through all of the cattle. (You’re welcome to
walk through them when you get there.) All
of the bull lots are equipped with autogates
now, so there won’t even be problems over who
has to open gates! Maps and vehicles (you
may drive your own, or use one of ours) will
be available at the sale barn.
6:00 P.M.- Prime Rib Supper
As with any cattle drive, we expect you’ll be
hungry and in need of refreshment at the end.
You won’t need to sit on the ground around a
campfire, but you will need an appetite for a
generous portion of smoked prime rib and all
the fixings.
7:00 P.M.- Evening entertainment
Red Steagall, western entertainer, singer and
poet will join us for a wonderful evening.
Come ready to relax and enjoy the fellowship
and entertainment!
Take Home Credit
Please note-- health regulations change on a regular basis
from state to state. Trich tests, in particular, are becoming
more prevalent among states for shipping bulls across state
lines. Unfortunately, this test takes about a week, and is not
practical to do on the entire offering prior to the sale.
Please call ahead if you are out-of-state and are planning to
bring a trailer so that we may check your state’s regulations.
We will honor the $250 take-home credit if you come pick
up your bulls after the trich testing is complete.
