HERD
BULL
ESTON OF LOOKOUT 83Z
This young sire was a hot pick in 2013 from the Shick Ranch in Montana. And he has
all the good stuff. He has a modest frame and throws average birth weight calves
which in turn produce great weaning and yearling weights. His EPD’s show him to be
in the top 25% for HB and 31% for GM. Check out his offspring in Lots 40 and 48.
If you are looking for some outcross genetics while still retaining theAngus breeding,
this may fill the bill. His EPD’s do him no justice as Red and Black Angus data does
not mesh well. Take a good look at Lot 42 for a little genetic zing.
Foundation
Sire
LMAN KING ROB 8621
King Rob was co-owned by O-K Cattle Company and his genetic influence is a
cornerstone for the foundation of our herd of Red Angus. Even though he would
now be 26 years old he still sports EPD’s that rank him in the top 37% forWW, 20%
for YW and 17% for Milk. His daughters are moderate, easy doing, highly maternal,
and well designed for a life on the North Dakota range. Semen for King Rob is
extremely rare but his influence for your herd can be obtained through the quality
offspring offered each year in our sale.
