This young sire’s genetics have come full circle back to the O-K Cattle Co.
Barenthsen Red Angus purchased his sire, OKCC Direct Design 102W, during
our 2010 production sale. Direct Design 102W produced their top selling bull
($33,000) as well as the top overall average sales for one sire during their 2015
sale. We purchased Bar M Designer 102W-1218 from them in 2012 due to his
tremendous weaning (115) and yearling (112) ratios. His EPD’s rank him in the top
6% for WW and top 9% for YW. He is a deep, dark red and long bodied bull, has
excellent feet and is an aggressive breeder. His grand dam MA884 was a 14 year
member of our herd. Her MPPA is 107 and her average offspringWR is 108 andYR
is 105. Take a good look at Lots 1 – 5, 8, 10, 18, 20, 22 - 24 to see this bull’s genetic
potential. Please note that Lot #24 - 282C has aWW EPD of 91 and aYW EPD of
142 (no it is not an error) and ranks in the top 1% in the breed for both.

Allan found this young bull, raised by the Cravens, at the 2012 North Dakota Select
Sale. He is a larger framed bull with a long body. He is a real traveler covering a lot
of country and cows. His calves were noticeable by their unassisted births and vigor.
He is a very well balanced bull and passes that on to his offspring. His EPD’s rank
him in the top 20% forWW, 15% forYW, and 34% for Milk. His sons are featured in
Lots 11, 15, 16, 17, 36, 38, 43, 47, and 50.

Ultimate is an ABS sire noted as a “calving ease outcross” bull that produces
“moderate, deep sided, productive females with excellent udders”. He ranks in the
top 8% for GM, 12% for HB, and 17% for Milk. If you need a little extra sleep during
