Splitting Pairs
All fall 2013 calves will enter the ring as pairs. We reserve the
right on all confirmed pregnant cows to split the calves from
cows and sell choice. All bull calf pairs and heifer calves at
side of cows not confirmed pregnant will sell as pairs. There
is a tremendous set of heifer calves at the side of these cows
so if there is interest in a particular “A” lot please let Vern
Suhn, Joe Cavender or Craig Green know by the day prior to
the sale.
Updated palpation and calving information will be
available on our website and on our sale supplement
Sale Order
The cattle will not sell in numerical lot number order, but
we will have a printed sale order available prior to the
sale. We will sell all registered females first followed by the
commercial females. In a progressive fashion, we have opted
to sell all commercial females on video instead of through the
ring. Buyers will be able to bid online if unable to attend the
event!
Cattle Load Out
Cattle will be available for load out immediately after the sale
and proper settlement has been made on purchases. If you
wish to loadout on Sunday or at a later date please note that
when you check-out. Arrangements can then be made to
have your cattle ready when you arrive.
Save Shipping and Handling
You can save shipping and handling charges by picking up
semen that you will need for your spring breeding season
at the Cavender’s Neches River Ranch Sale. Representatives
from either GENETRUST or Integrated Breeders will be
available Saturday to fill your orders. We would ask that you
keep your orders to goblet increments of 5’s or 10’s so that
we can avoid excessive handling of semen. Please contact
GENETRUST at 1-877-436-3877 to place your order prior
to the sale to assure we have enough semen on hand and
available sale day.
