th
annual Spring
registered and commercial female sale.
This year’s event is highlighted by the dispersal of the T model donor cows from several
of the GENETRUST partners. These proven donors that have been the backbone behind
the success of the past GENETRUST bull sales. They are still in the prime of their lives
and offer for breeders an opportunity to add to and strengthen their programs. In
addition, there will be several 3 in 1’s and spring calving young cattle. There will be a
large offering of both open and fall bred heifers. These young cattle offer the latest in
cutting edge genetics for the Brangus breed. For the first time we will be offering an
option for us to keep and breed the open heifers if the purchaser so desires. Brangus
bulls and commercial females have been in strong demand and the future looks even
brighter for Brangus progeny with the right genetic design. The lots offered through this sale will help to establish your
herds future productivity.
The commercial offering will be approximately 400 head. We continue to build this into a consistent yearly event
that will provide our customers the best in Brangus influenced replacements. Included will be an excellent offering of
spring calving Brangus pairs with the 30 – 150 day old calves at side and will be in tip top condition. We will also have
a large group of stout bred heifers that will be bred for early fall calves. In addition, we will have several groups of open
and exposed heifers from GENETRUST partners and consigners. Demand has been strong for these cattle in past events
and it is our goal thru the implementation of an AI breeding program and the use of quality, top end GENETRUST
Brangus bulls to provide extra value to our customers through this offering. Brangus females have been the strength and
most sought after females through the spring stock show sales and consignment sales. Join us on Saturday the 26
th
of
April to evaluate and appraise what we consider our best spring offering.
As we did last year, we will start the sale on Saturday, April 26
th
at 10am and break briefly for lunch. The
commercial female sale will start immediately after lunch and with a snappy sale should be done by early afternoon.
