Cattle will be available for load
out immediately after the bull
sale and proper settlement
has been made on purchases.
If you wish to loadout on

check-out. Arrangements can
then be made to have your
cattle ready when you arrive.
Save Shipping and
Handling
You can save shipping and
handling charges by picking
up semen that you will need
for your spring breeding season at the Suhn Cattle Company
Sale. Representatives from either GENETRUST or Integrated
Breeders will be available Tuesday to fill your orders. We
would ask that you keep your orders to goblet increments of
5’s or 10’s so that we can avoid excessive handling of semen.
Please contact GENETRUST at 1-877-436-3877 to place your
order prior to the sale to assure we have enough semen on
hand and available sale day.
Sale Order
The cattle will not sell in numerical lot order. We will have a
printed sale order prior to the sale.
Genetic condition identified in Brangus
Breed
Developmental Duplication (DD) is a genetic condition
inherited as a simple recessive that was first reported in
the Angus breed on 8/12/13. Upon release of the first tests,
which were performed by Dr. Jonathan E. Beever, Ph.D. of
the University of Illinois, a Brangus bull was reported to be a
carrier of this genetic condition. GENETRUST is currently
in the process of finalizing tests on a group of herd sires,
and intends to have all sale cattle tested prior to sale. We will
make the results of those tests available prior to sale, and will
designate the cattle as DDF – indicating the animal is free of
the genetic condition, or DDC – indicating the animal is a
carrier of the genetic condition. We plan to post test results
on our website www.genetrustbrangus.com,and we will also
use the website to provide updates and options on how to
effectively manage this condition.
