Lakota 271C’s cow line is about as blue collar as they come. Her dam who sells as
lot 78 is a hard working cow with a very solid record. 271C’s dam has a 104 aver-
age WWR. Lot 13 has posted a 107 IMF ratio. This is the kind of heifer that someone
can build a solid program on.

Lot 15 is going to get some attention. This is Craig, Lindley and Cayson Howard’s
heifer. I (Craig Bieber) convinced Craig Howard to keep this heifer’s dam and she
has done a good job for him. 193W died suddenly late summer 2015 but this heifer
kept on coming. She has a bit larger flight zone and we suspect being an orphan
is why. Lot 15’s dam was a peach. She is bred to one of two Fusion sons that we re-
ally liked and since it is too close to call we recommend DNA testing to see whether
it’s Federalist or Unified.

Another Tilly descendant with a dam who is already building a good reputation
with one of the top weaning heifer calves last fall with Iron Ore on top side. Iron

One of the things we are most impressed with from the Durheim purchase is the
Norseman King 2291 daughters. They have been outstanding producers. A large
group of these daughters sell this year as a lot of them were 2009 models. This bred
heifer stacks in Rollin Deep for a great 1, 2 combination.

The Tilly line has been a perennial favorite and here is one that needs a look. Her
dam produced a son in 2013 that sold in our 2014 fall sale to Tom Porter, KS for 10K.
Tilly 307X has two daughters in the herd so here is your chance to collect a Hard
Drive daughter. Lot 16 is a good one for someone to build a great herd on.

Sam Twedt, Twedt Red Angus has been putting together quite a few of our top
genetics, including a full brother to this heifer that sold as lot 1. We sampled Bieber
Driven in our own herd and he was used natural service in Sam’s. 309Y is out of
a very solid cowline and the High Noon daughters have been some of our best on
growth, carcass, and disposition.
