SALE INFORMATION
AIR TRANSPORTATION:
Aberdeen is serviced by Delta Airlines. Huron and Pierre are
serviced by Great Lakes Airlines which is affiliated with United
and Frontier airlines.
INTERNET & ABSENTEE BIDDING:
We would prefer for each of you to be in attendance on sale day.
Realistically, we know that there will be some scheduling conflicts
and distance limitations. In these cases we have arranged for
you to be able to participate in the sale on an absentee basis with
a conference call dedicated to bidding. We will have available
one phone line and can accommodate 20 to 30 bidders. Please
call prior to the sale and register as a prospective buyer. We have
limited capabilities to bid by phone during the sale. Your best
option is to be in attendance at the sale, but if you cannot attend
or feel more comfortable bidding yourself, we need to warn you of
complications in the past with phone service such as the volume
and the rapid pace at which our sale moves. If we handle the bids
for you, they will be done in the strictest of confidence. However,
if you want to attempt bidding by phone, please make arrange-
ments prior to sale day by calling Craig or Peggy. For internet

If unable to attend and you feel comfortable doing so, you can
leave those bids with the Bieber family , Auctioneer, or publication
representatives. We handle many sight unseen bids and have
very satisfied customers who feel confident in using that service.
We prefer to have plenty of time to discuss your needs over the
phone prior to sale day so that we may select the cattle that best
fit your specs. We buy those animals just like you were sitting
ringside with us. We also guarantee the cattle so that if they don’t
meet your ideals, you just return them to us. If possible, come by
and evaluate the offering prior to sale day. We will post video
of each lot on our website prior to the sale but may run into time
limitations.

FOLLOWING SALE:
Everyone is invited to Dinner at Ron & Lois’s after the sale. We
will be serving Strip Loin cooked by our friend and partner Stu
Campbell.
BREEDING DATA ON BRED FEMALES:
Breeding data on bred Females is verified by ultrasound. The sex
of the pregnancy and the date of calving is verified by ultrasound
and is an estimate. Many years of ultrasound had proven it is 99%
accurate. These are called to the best of veterinarian’s ability
depending on the embryo age. Some bred females have two sires
to close to call by ultrasound and when that happens we have
indicated that DNA will be necessary to determine that sire of the
calf. Sometimes that birthdate clarify that sire but DNA is always
recommended to determine the sire.
UPDATED INFORMATION:
Scrotals and weights on all the bulls the week before the sale on
our website or upon request. All other data not provided will be
available upon request.
GAIN TESTING:
The summer born bulls were weaned October 2015 and yearling
weights were taken on May 2016. All of the summer born bulls
were placed on feed in preparation for the sale September 13,
2016.
SALE ORDER:
The sale order will be Registered Females, in lot
order, Commercial Females and then Bulls Lot in lot order.
SIGHT UNSEEN:
If you are unable to attend we encourage you to
contact us or one of the buyer representatives. We have handled
many sight unseen bids and guarantee your satisfaction as long
as you visit with us to make sure the cattle you select meet your
standards. We would prefer to have plenty of time to discuss your
needs over the phone prior to sale day. If the cattle don’t meet with
your approval the cattle will need to be returned to us.
We are pleased to offer the Bieber Red Angus Sale broadcast “live” over the internet through DVAuction Services. To bid from your
computer at home during the sale, complete this simple two step process.

your personal information on the next screen.
• Click on “Apply for Bidding.” Select the Bieber Red Angus Sale from the list of sales and click “Apply.” Complete the process by filling
out the Banking and Lending information requested.
DVAuction will contact you to let you know that you have been approved to bid and buy at the sale “live” from your computer at home.
We will also provide you with a buyer number for the sale.
After the sale Bieber Red Angus will contact you to make arrangements for payment and delivery of your on-line purchases.
