It was our pleasure to attend an action-packed
weekend in at Fort Riley, Kansas in September. Our
family was able to help with and attend a steak feed
on a Friday night, and a tailgate party and
Wounded Warrior/celebrity baseball game on
Saturday. What a blessing it was to meet and inter-
act with many service men and women and their
families. No less a blessing was the opportunity to
meet and socialize with the volunteers who have
made the All American Beef Battalion vision a
wonderful reality.
It’s our joy to continue the tradition that was
begun in 2011, and donate 100% of the proceeds
from Lot 21(as our form of 21 Gun Salute) in this
sale.
Our sincere appreciation can never be
expressed for all that the military has done for us.
Thanks to everyone who has pitched in to support
the work of the All American Beef Battalion. We
encourage you to read more about this program, its
purpose and its possibilities. We hope the work of
the All-American Beef Battalion will continue to
provide the sustenance of American beef, as well as
a sense of support and appreciation to those who
have sacrificed so much to bravely defend our coun-
try.
Our Purpose
* To organize and sponsor steak feeds, entertain-
ment, programs, meetings, and projects with
Service members and their families
* To encourage and assist them in any reasonable
manner
* To foster among the people of the United States
an appreciation, respect, and honor for our Armed
Forces Military Service members whose sacrifices
have and will continue to make our freedoms possi-
ble.
The All American Beef Battalion is the vision of Bill
Broadie of Ashland, KS. Bill is a 4th generation cattle
man in Kansas who served with the 3rd Marine division
in Vietnam in 1967.
Our vision is to support the troops fighting the war on
terror while promoting American Beef. We can do this
as an industry by having steak feeds for deploying
troops and at their homecoming. As we advance into
this mission we hope to take the cookouts directly to
the combat zones wherever they may be.
As our experience grows we believe there are many
avenues we can take to support the troops and pro-
mote American Beef. There are many ways we can help
the troops, not only by feeding them but also by help-
ing their families or by helping the families of those
killed in combat. To do this we have a dream... its a mis-
sion bigger than any individual, but not bigger than our
industry.
We ask for your help to support these young men and
women who offer so much for all of us.
