fter producing our high selling sire group of sale bulls last
year it probably does not make good sense that we only
have two sons in the sale this year sired by M

t is partially by design and partially not. This is only his
second calf crop and it is not unusual that we give a young
herd sire time to prove what his daughters will look like
before we use him heavy,
but that’s not the whole story. W

used him for clean-up duties on a very good pasture group
of cows that had unreal good conception to A

produced mostly heifer calves sired by M

that equaled a very limited number of sons for this year’s
sale. Based on the progeny results we have seen so far,

EER is going to add some performance and
power to his calves while remaining very acceptable on
birth weight. His first daughters calved this fall and they
are so good we urge anyone interested to please go to our
pastures and see them. They
are so good that we retained all
of his daughters again this year
for replacements. Be prepared
for a large number of his sons
next year because we have a
huge sire group of them on the
ground this fall.
