e was our lead-off Lot 1 bull in our 2

sale catalog where he was
purchased by Ba[ley Farms of Georgetown, SC, then in his first calf crop at
G

arms he produced the lead-off sire group of our 2

sale catalog,
and now keeps that tradition for a second year as he provides us with our
lead-off sire group for our 2

sale catalog. The sire of STA

produced our lead-off sire group for our 2

but most importantly,
G
RA
DUA
TE has
loaded our pastures with high producing young daughters and earned a
reputation as one of the great sires of the industry. W
e have calved out our
first STATEMENT daughters this fall and have a very confident feeling that
he will at least equal,
if not surpass the abilities of his great sire as a “
cow
maker”
. W
hen you look at the photos of STA
TEM
EN
T and G
RA
DUA
TE,
it
is remarkable how similar they appear. In appraising them in the Àesh, you
will notice that STA
TEM
EN
T is slightly smaller frame siz
e ,
carrying slightly more muscle mass deep into his quarter,
and in general slightly wider base with more overall body
mass. His first daughters show us these same traits
along with the great udder and teat structure produced
by his sire and possessed by his dam. This is our
third year calving heifers to STA
TEM
EN
T and at
this point we feel safe referring to him as a
safe choice for breeding heifers.

of
superior performance, all reflected in his EPD and Index profile. You can make the search difficult by researching for multiple generations or you can make it simple by reading his data and
looking at the bull. This one is a simple choice. His dam was pulled into our embryo donor lot last fall after producing 3 calves with average progeny ratios of WW 113, YW 111, IMF 134,
REA 115. After being flushed once, she was returned to her pasture group, bred back on time, and is calving right with the herd again this fall. This is the exact same results we learned to
expect out of the dam of STATEMENT and if you trace the cow family of Lot 1 back two generations you will find another cow that produced exactly the same, N341 MABELLE, who at 14
years of age is currently standing in our pastures with sound feet, udder, and teats. Again, all the research is not really needed, just read the data on this great young herd sire prospect . . .
Top 1% ranking for Stability and API.
Lot 1 will be one of our traditional Sunbelt Expo display bulls for this year, so make plans to come by the Sunbelt in Moultrie, GA October 17 ± 19 to visit with us and take a look at our
display bulls, Lots 1 14.
