Sells with heifer calf at side (#1574910), calved 2/5/2013. BW 58 lbs, sired by our main
herd bull: Southern Boy (#1244701). Ellie is an outstanding young female raising a very
stout, high performing heifer calf. She has been exposed to Legacy Lakota (#1483597),
another one of our 1A herd bulls from 2/10/2013 - 4/15/2013. Legacy Lakota is outof the
Lacy herd. This first calf heifer has a long career ahead of her. Take a second look at this
offering. The only reason we are selling this pair is because we are trying to transition to

Sara 3033 is a registered cow that we purchased as an open fall heifer from Terry Forbes,
Slaughters, KY. This will be her second calf – she sloughed her second calf, maybe because
of the white clover that took over our pasture. She has grown and has developed into a nice,
good natured cow with decent EPDs. Ultra sounded confirm pregnant to embryo (mating:
SPRE P14 #975656 x Roy Rogers 5604 #1037175) with heifer calf. Embyro donor, P14 was a
beautiful heifer when we bought her from Spruetels. Wilbur said she was the highest EPD
heifer on his farm that year. She had one bull calf which was about as perfect as it could be,
and by accident, he was cut for a steer. Later that year, she stepped on a thorn and her whole
leg was absessed. She aborted the calf she was carrying and her leg finally healed. We kept
her open and flushed her getting a decent amount of embryos by Roy Rogers. We then put
one of the embryos in and it stuck. We sitll have eight left in the tank. We were really glad to
hear it was a heifer. Now we are selling all of our cows and someone will reap the rewards on
this one. Sara 3033 was implanted with embryo on 6/19/2012 and is due 3/21/2013. Projected
