Welcome to our 2017 Bull Sale!
Welcome to our 2017 Production Sale. Our first Red Angus bulls were purchased in 1989
and we acquired our registered cows in 1998. This has been an interesting, educational and
exciting process. We believe today with growth and acceptance of Red Angus genetics in
the cattle industry that using this breed in your program is the smart thing to do. We’ve al-
ways felt that Red Angus cattle would prove themselves just by using them.
Janssen Red Angus is always searching for the genetics that will produce more efficient,
productive and profitable cattle for our customers. We hope you will be as pleased with this
year’s offering as much as we have enjoyed preparing them for you.
Along with the importance of our cattle is our family. This year we have had some wonder-
ful blessings to our family. Travis & Delane had a daughter, Mesa, in July. Our daughter,
Sydney & her husband Matt, had twins in January. A little girl, Jolie, and a son, Thane.
The other addition to our business is having a good friend, Kevin Kniffin, working with us
full time. He is excellent help and is a great asset to our business.
We want to thank everyone for their interest in our cattle and hope to see you at our sale
March 18th.
