Dear Wann Ranch Customers and Friends,
Welcome to our 2016 sale offering. Our industry has certainly been volatile the
last 6 months. Our goal here at WR has always been to provide genetics to our
commercial customers that will help them have success in the cattle business.
The best defense against market uncertainty is to produce a known genetic
product that has industry demand all the way to the consumer. Our many repeat
customers can attest to the fact that calves sired by our bulls arrive easy and hit
the ground growing. The value of high quality Angus genetics will keep you at
the forefront of the cattle business. At Wann Ranch you are in the right place to
access genetics to improve your position in the cattle industry
Our female offering is quite strong. Take a look at lot 1A and 2A heifer calves.
They are really fancy and have breed leading genetics. The bred heifers are the
best we have offered in some time. Lot 19 is a fantastic heifer. She may be the
best we have ever offered for sale. Lot 37 is an outstanding young spring two
year old pair. She has a super heifer calf at side by our EXcalibur bull. That pair
will look great in anyone’s pasture.
Science and sense has been our motto for several years now and that is exactly
what you will find. There is nothing fancy here, no stock show banners or elab-
orate buildings or facilities. This is a working, blue collar ranch just like yours.
The cattle are also working blue collar cattle.
This is an extremely solid set of bulls from end to end. They are thick and gen-
tle. The fall yearlings are ready to go breed a lot of cows. The spring yearlings
are simply outstanding! Lot 111 is as good a bull as you will find anywhere,
anytime. While we are offering many double digit calving ease bulls as we
always do, don’t overlook the bulls that are just out of the heifer range for your
cow herd. There are several really stout bulls that fit this category.
