This one is tough for us. The Chelsea 840 cow has been the face of our program for a long time.
The list of high selling full sibs to this 740 cow is too long to list. For many years our high selling bulls
were all full sibs to this cow, and the females were flat out special. Dennis Larson sold a full sib to this
female and she was the high selling female at the Iowa Beef Expo a few years ago and a couple years
before that one of the top selling bulls in that sale was a sib as well. I literally could go on and on, but
for those that have seen us sell anything over the last 15 years, this pedigree needs no introduction.
Take a close look at this cow on sale day and you will see what we love about her. Vet preged bred to

young female we retained her for her overall power and substance. She goes back to a
really good Hugs and Kisses daughter we bought from Steenhoek’s as a baby. Really

This vision daughter has been a top producer for us. She is out of really good cow we
bought off of a Triple C production sale as a calf years ago that was awesome for us
too. This 744T cow is sound in her makeup and big bodied, and her calves have always
looked that part as well. Anybody looking to improve a cowherd should take a serious

It isn’t ever easy to sell a cow like this. You could spend years trying to find a Simmental cow
that is as soft in her structure and balanced in her makeup as this one is. She goes back to the
really productive “Faith” cow family and in my opinion this is exactly what a cow should look
like. She has been a great producer for us and every year her progeny shine in our production
sales. Anyone looking for a cow to build a herd around should take serious notes here. If you
are like us and you look at all the small details in a cow, you will find it hard to put a hole in this
