Annual Roberts Angus Production Sale. We
would like to thank all of our past customers for your support and continued belief in our program. We are
committed to producing bulls that are low maintenance with calving ease and explosive growth that will
keep the commercial cattleman on the topside of the market. We are extremely pleased with this year’s
offering and excited to see what the future has to hold.
Our focus has always been on quality and achieving big, long, stretchy bulls that will add thickness,
volume and muscle while leaving moderate, high producing, broody females. In evaluating our 2015 calf-
crop, we set high standards in what we wanted each bull to represent and offer to the working cattleman.
Years of focusing on incorporating the right breeding into our program, which includes lines from Basin
Angus, Scotch Cap Angus, SAV, Sitz Ranch, and also bringing in some of the top AI sires allowed us to leave
almost 90% of our bulls intact with very few cut as steers. We believe these bulls represent some of the best
the breed has to offer with an Average Birth EPD 1.9, Avg. Average Daily Gain 4.33 and as of Feb 1
st
, 2016
an Average Actual Weight of 1179 lbs with our Average 365 Weight at 1488 lbs. In today’s market, ranchers
demand bulls that will add pounds to their calf crop and dollars to their bottom-line, which is exactly what
these bulls have to offer.
This year we are excited to also be offering a select number of our bred heifers. You will notice a
feminine head with good body and nice udders allowing for optimum milk production leading to heavier
weaning weights. With 2015’s bull calves having an Average Actual Weaning Weight of 801lbs we feel
you can expect these females to provide a strong foundation for your herd and produce calves that will
achieve real-world gains.
