2016 was an exciting year for our family as our
youngest, Justin, along with his team qualified
for the ND State class B Basketball
Tournament. It was also a year for change as
he graduated from high school and we are
now empty nesters. He is a freshman this year
at NDSU in Fargo, ND and is enjoying his time
at college; however, we do still see him on
the occasional weekends when he comes
home to hunt!
Our youngest daughter, Erica, and her
boyfriend, Brandon, both will be
graduating in April with their Doctorate in
Physical Therapy from the University of
Mary. Erica has spent these past couple
months on her clinical rotations in
Phoenix, AZ and Hawaii; it’s safe to say
she is not missing the cold or the snow!
She also traveled, earlier this fall, to
Guatemala on a clinical rotation
providing therapy to the underserved
which she really enjoyed.
Our oldest, Lindsey, and her husband,
Luke, are home farming and ranching.
Lindsey also works part-time as a
Physician Assistant at a family practice
clinic in Minot. They both stay busy
chasing after their two daughters,
Isabella (2
½
years) and Zoë (1 year).
The girls both love spending time
outdoors, riding horse and playing with
all the farm animals. They were able to
travel, as a family, to Phoenix this winter
to visit Erica and also do some team
roping while enjoying the sunshine!
