The Effects of El Nino
Well, we said that we needed rain and did that need get filled.
The El Nino provided a considerable amount of rain last Spring
and certainly this past Fall has been plentiful as well. Many
parts of Texas and surrounding states have enjoyed ample
rainfall since the New Year and more is forecasted throughout
this Spring. We as cattle breeders will be able to enjoy the
effects on our pastures and have confidence that our ponds and
tanks are finally full. Finally, we should be able to rebuild the
Texas and US cow herds.
