The Red Alliance program is built in the same manner
as the large ranches employ with Cooperator Herds.
Our program is built on the exact same principles with
the only exception being that each producer retains
their ranch identity (Herd Prefix tattoo). We do not
add a master prefix before the cooperator herd’s
prefix.
Our members strongly subscribe to the use of artificial
insemination and embryo transfer in order to stay on
the leading edge of genetic opportunities for our
customers. It is the same general philosophy
employed by all of the top breeder programs in the
US. We don’t profess to be smarter, better or more
progressive than other top programs around the
country, but we know that we provide genetics that
are equal to the best in the country. What we will tell
you is that when you look past all of the hyperbole
professed by others in advertising and take a look at
what we provide, our cattle are as good as anyone’s in
the country.
We believe that management and development of the
bulls by an independent – non-member operator -
further underscores the validity of data that we
provide. This is a major difference between us and
other cooperator herds. We cannot manipulate the
data since management of the bulls is conducted by
an impartial and independent third party. You cannot
find a more objective bull development program
anywhere else.
Alfadale Stock Farms located in El Reno, Oklahoma
handles bull development for our team. This facility is
owned and managed by Peter Jeffrey and his family.
They are a critical component to our program and
know how to develop bulls in a manner designed for
longevity. Their track record is lengthy with thousands
of bulls developed under their guidance.
The ration utilized is primarily silage and chopped
hay. Forage based and designed to grow and develop
the bulls without excessive fat. Skeletal structure
development is first and foremost.
Alfadale Stock Farms take possession of the bulls after
they have been weaned and back grounded. From
that point the Red Alliance management team reviews
performance data and visual appraisal to select bulls
that will qualify for the sale. The bulls are screened
multiple times and non-performers are eliminated.
We develop the best bulls possible to maximize your
profitability!

animals that are fertile while maintaining exceptional performance standards for growth and
carcass. Embryo transfer is also utilized to continue to bring fresh genetics into the herd.
