Guaranteed Breeders
Dr. Steve Schultz has done a stringent BSE (Breeding
Soundness Evaluation) on every bull in this sale. Each
bull selling has passed Dr. Schultz’s tests and is consid-
ered a satisfactory and potential breeder. All bulls are
guaranteed as breeding bulls through the first breeding
season. If a problem should arise, please contact any of
the above numbers and we will offer a replacement bull
of equal or greater quality. If a replacement bull is not
available when needed, a credit will be issued for Mound
Creek’s 2017 Bull Sale.
Herd Health
Mound Creek Ranch is a Brucellosis Certified Free. All
cattle have been inspected for health and fertility by our
veterinarian, are current with annual vaccinations and
come with interstate health papers.

Cattle Load Out
Cattle can be loaded out during and after the sale. We
ask that any pot-sized loads wait until the conclusion of
the sale. We will load out cattle on Saturday and Sunday
and ask that each buyer inform the clerks of your desire
to load out on Sunday along with an approximate time of
arrival. If you require a load out on another day, please
inform the clerks as to your desired date and time.

Palpation
The palpation of this sale offering has been performed
both physically, with ultrasound, or by blood test. You
will be given our best estimate as to the breeding sta-
tus and service sire of each female. Palpation is still a
best estimate and not guaranteed to be 100% accurate.
Each female called bred is so guaranteed.
Genetic Conditions
Developmental Duplication (DD) is a simple recessive,
non-lethal genetic condition first reported in Brangus in
2013. Every animal in this sale is either DD free by ped-
igree or has been tested for DD. Each animal in this cat-
alog is noted as either DDPF (DD Pedigree Free), DDPC
(waiting to be DD tested), DDF (Free) or DDC (Carrier).
