He exemplifies power through and through. Bulls like this keep us going back
to the semen tanks for more Knob Creek. #4124 is a larger framed bull that
smoked his contemporaries to 724 lbs. adjusted weaning during the winter
months to ratio 120! His yearling was impressive as well ratioing 111. He had
the biggest REA at almost 19 and a ratio of 127. The EPD tabulation points
towards his elite performance with a top 4% and 6% tabulation compared to
the breed for weaning and yearling respectively.

We love using Knob Creek for these terminal oriented bulls. This is a bull that is
moderate in his frame and loaded with product from nose to tail! It didn’t take an
ultrasound machine to figure out he was well above average for REA, but a 116
IMF score is frosting on the cake. His maternal brother sold to Texas in our 1st sale.
Longevity is a trait of great importance to us, his mom is still going strong at 9.

Every year there is that one stud muffin that always stands out. Rain, sun or
snow, #5042 is the man! Why wouldn’t he be, he’s sired by Knob Creek a past
AICA #5 Show Bull of the Year and multiple qualifier in the Show Sire of the Year
running. He sports the highest adjusted weaning weight and ratio in the spring
2015 bull calf crop. The neatest part is he ranks in the top 15% of the breed for
TSI and still is the first one everyone sees when they go into the pen! His mom
earned her keep pushing him to a 118 Weaning ratio!!

5014’s dam is an ET out of the Australian bull Peugeot and the famed LCR Miss
Lindskov 7109 that produced herd sires for Rambur and Lindskov-Thiel. This
bull sports a -1.5 BW EPD coupled with well-rounded growth tabulation. His
dam #9008’s, 2013 born son CD Amplify 3082 P was in our 2014 National
Western Stock Show Reserve Grand Champion Pen of Five bulls in Denver and
purchased by Amana Farms during our 2014 Bull Sale. Her next son born at CD
was also snatched up by Amana in last year’s sale, coincidence?
