Boyd Abigale 0001 is one of the most productive donors
ever produced in the last decade at Boyd Beef Cattle. Abi-
gale 0001 does it all very well, both genetically and phe-
notypically! She puts together a very rare package as she
is one of the only Angus females to combine breed-lead-
ing EPDs and also to be named a National Champion at
the NJAS and NAILE. As a young donor, she has already
produced many high sellers in our female sale and she is a
maternal sister to the Genex/CRI sire, Boyd Cartwright 3303.
This impressive flush brother to Lot 1 offers the same solid balance
in his EPD tabulation offering calving ease along with a Milk EPD in
the top 1% of the breed combined with an RE EPD in the top 2%. He
is in the top 4% for both YW and $W values with a 10% ranking for
WW EPD.
Maternal sisters include the $18,000 Boyd Abigale 3085 selected by
ZWT Ranch in 2014 and Boyd Abigale 3605 selected by KB Angus
also in 2014. In addition, another maternal sister, Boyd Abigale 3306
was a many times champion for the Boyd program with a highlight
being selected as the Reserve Grand Champion Bred and Owned
Female of the 2014 NJAS.
Boyd Abigale 0001 is a past NJAS Reserve Grand Champion and is
a maternal sister to the $100,000 Genex/CRI sire, Boyd Cartwright
3303.
