Admiral and his full brothers came out quietly as the lead lots in the Hook Farms 2014 sale, but
now he is making some noise. A GAR-EGL Protégé son out of the great Hooks Patti 3P, he has
developed into a super sound, deep ribbed, extremely long sided bull with no holes. His calves
however are the real reason for all of the attention. It is easy to see the bred Admiral daughters in
this Value by Design sale are right at the very top of the offering and his powerhouse lot 1 and 2
sons at the Irvine Ranch sale in Kansas will almost assuredly go to breeder herds and be among
the best young bulls sold this fall. Big time birth to yearling spread and a true leader for the com-
bined carcass value traits, Admiral just might be the impact SimAngus sire to use next season.
