Cavender Brangus has over the past few years invested in
a group of select registered Angus cows that have been
used in the production of Ultrablacks. Suhn’s Chisholm
331W45 was the bull selected for use back on those Angus
females and has done a phenomenal job in that role. Joe
and Kenneth have decided to share in the genetics of this
donor female that has done an outstanding job for them
in the creation of Ultrablack progeny as you can see by
her tremendous Passport heifer calf at side. This cow,
since arriving at Cavender Ranch, has recorded offspring
by three sires: Chisholm, Hombre and Passport. Those
progeny have combined to thus far tabulate an ABWR of
92, AWWR of 103, AYWR of 105, AREA of 103 and an
AIMFR of 108. She is palpated safe to CB Hombre 63A
who will be one of the lead off 18 month
old bulls in the 2014 GT@CRC Bull Sale.
