Initially we considered 5AISINCCAIN primarily as a terminal type sire, high performance and high carcass value, and that¶s how we used him for the firstcouple
years. Finally a few of his daughters made it into our replacement pasture and after calving them for two years now we have learned a whole new side of
5AISINCCAIN, he is not totally a terminal sire. His daughters are big middle, easy Àeshing females with beautiful udders and loaded with milk. Also to his
benefit, his BW EPD has continued to drop and his CE EPD has continued to improve as he got more progeny data, yet he has held steady on growth and
carcass traits. Currently he ranks in the top 1% of the breed for YW, ADG, YG, and 5EA EPD¶s. Commercial operations with Angus cows should be taking
advantage of genetics like this by utili]ing an A.I. program for greater profit.
