lot 8221 is a genuine power cow and has been a unique breeding piece for OSU. Full
sibs to this female have sold for an average of $14,062 through public auction, in-
cluding J&J Double Take 550, the curve-bending herd sire for A-Cross Ranch and
J&J Cattle Co. Several full sisters to this impressive female also serve as feature don-
or dams throughout the country.
Visually, 8221 is as powerful an Angus female as you will find, offering tremendous
base width, rib shape, muscle thickness and bone. From a production standpoint,
she has performed well, posting a 102 weaning ratio on two natural calves, and three
yearling offspring record ratios of 103 for both RE and IMF.
This cow has solid genetics for growth and carcass with the look and power to pro-
duce show cattle. We have been fortunate to bank embryos on this cow and believe
she is just reaching her prime.
