On behalf of the OSU Purebred Beef Cattle Center and the Department of Animal Science, wel-
come to the 34th Annual OSU Cowboy Classic. We are very excited about this sale offering and
believe that we have an exceptional group of cattle to offer. We hope that you will be able to join
us on Sunday, April 7, 2013.
This sale features many of the most elite cow families in the Angus breed and a set of females
that could serve as the foundation of any herd. Included are a tremendous set of young, pro-
ductive cows with spring-born calves and a set of heifers that will favorably compare to any you
can find.
The bulls are very good and ready to be out with cows. They are sound, powerful and problem-
free while offering reliable genetics to add value to your cow herd and keep your operation
profitable. All bulls sell with our breeding soundness guarantee.
You will notice that several lots were selected, based on individual performance and pedigree,
to be Zoetis 50K tested, and they now have genomically enhanced EPDs. We believe strongly that
this technology offers increased confidence to you, the buyer, that the genetics you are invest-
ing in will meet or exceed your expectations.
