Welcome to the JLS eleventh annual ‘Winning Tradition’ Sale. At American Marketing Service, we could not be more excited about
being involved in this sale, where the Showring and Performance Collide.
For the first time, we will offer the pick of the JLS spring 2013 calf crop. We are opening the pasture gates to your selection.
This includes the calves at the side of the mature cows and the ET calves. It also includes all the spring bull calves as well as
the heifers. Imagine the opportunity to select a $12,500 bull like we sold in San Antonio or the next International Champion
Female. Your choice awaits should you get the winning bid!
This offering features the offspring and genetic influence of some of the breed’s most powerful females. We have direct daugh-
ters of 915C as well as daughters and full sisters to Tally, Sally, Pearl and Minerva. We feature daughters and the influence of
the powerful and phenotypically flawless, Miss Tomahawk 86/9 as well as Ms JLS Revenue 157P2. On the sire side, you will see
Presidente, Blackhawk, Odyssey, and the 2012 Show Bull of the Year JLS Duke 291X, Austins Scout 37X and a couple of young
Presidente sons we are proud of–86W4 and 86Y6.
The young halter broken show heifer prospects are powerful and promise to be as competitive as any we have ever sold. There
are several power packed prospects at the side of their dams in both the spring and fall offerings.
In the bull portion of the sale, we are featuring the elite herd sire prospects and top end range bulls you have come to expect at
JLS. We annually sell 150+ bulls private treaty and these young herd sires are the very top end. Come to the sale and we feel
confident you will like what you see, and of course we do have more private treaty bulls available. In addition, we are featuring
a halter broke, May 2012 bull yearling as Lot 13 in this sale, sired by Mighty Mouse. We think he will be competitive in the owned
bull show in the junior shows and we think he is a herd sire prospect.
