2013 marks the second year since the
GENETRUST marketing alliance was formed that the
majority of the members involved have offered their
mature females for sale. This is a decision that is not
easy to make and one that is not taken lightly by the
owners or managers in their quest to continually offer to
the industry the most proven and uniformly consistent
genetics possible. Included in this offering are the top cut
from our females born in 2005 and 2006. Top cut because
they have been evaluated and culled throughout their
productive life and although some may still remain in
ownership they would not be included for one of three
reasons. They were not functionally sound enough to be
sold; some have been used for recipient females and some
may have been purchased over the past year or so and
the new owner has not had sufficient time to capture the
genetics for which he purchased the female for.
The decision to merchandise these females while
still in the prime of their life offers the buying public an
unprecedented opportunity to capture these genetics and
utilize them to build upon and improve their existing
programs and if a new or relatively new breeder to
lay a solid foundation for their program that will reap
great benefits for them in years to come. In essence you
