Landon Alexander Hays was born March 4, 1987. The son of Mike and Belinda Hays and brother to Adrienne
Hays, Landon was unexpectedly taken from us December 28, 2001, in a tragic motorcycle accident. Although he was
only here for a brief time, he touched the hearts of many people and blessed their lives.
Landon’s love for horses, cattle and the ranch life was the inspiration behind the formation of Hays Brothers. His
enthusiasm was contagious and served as a catalyst to spur Dad and Uncle Clark along.
Everyone was excited as construction of the Hays Brothers multi-purpose building began. However, no one was as
excited as Landon. Uncle Clark had taught him to rope, and Landon was looking forward to refining his roping skills
in the new indoor arena. Virtually all weekends and holidays away from school you could find Landon on the ranch
shadowing Uncle Clark and absorbing all the knowledge of ranch and cattle life he could. Regardless of the task laid
out for him, he gave it his all.
Though Landon is not physically with us, we shall always have our precious memories of his laughter and ever-
present smile. We shall not forget the many hours he spent as a young man helping start and develop Hays Brothers
Angus Ranch.
To our Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that Landon was a very special gift and blessing from You, and we thank
You.
To our very special Landon, we love and miss you so much, and look forward to seeing you again in a greater
arena, Heaven.
