I love it when a plan comes together!(with apologies to Hannibal
Smith). This mating combination has to be one of the best we have
ever achieved. The quality and consistency of this flush is ASTONISH-
ING. They actually remind me a lot of the quality and consistency that
we saw in another spectacular flush that resulted in PREMIER, PAR-
AMOUNT, SOVEREIGN, SUPREME, SUMMIT AND X7877. How much
more can be said? Actually something more can be said and that is
that commercial bull buyers need to be ready to react on these front
lots. Every year it happens. I overhear someone say “Boy that lot such
and such bull went for a lot less than I thought. I should’ve bought
him but I figured those upfront bulls would be out of my price range.”
I’ve seen it happen in sales all over the country especially with full ET
brothers. Everyone will get on two or three and seem to forget about
the other brother and so he ends up selling well within most commer-
cial cowmen’s budget. Study your entire catalog and be ready to take
advantage.
WOW! Check out the outstanding EPD line on this stud. Whatever trait
that you are looking for this guy gives you THE WORKS. Much like his
full brother COMPLETE which sells as Lot 162, he is an EPD standout.
Take a look at his outstanding HerdBuilder index along with his MILK,
CEM, and ST and imagine the phenomenal set of females that you could
build. Can you say profit centers? Throw in his outstanding dam that
was the second high seller in our dispersal sale to Ludvigson, Bachman,
Rimrock and Strawberry Ridge and you really have something. A ma-
ternal brother sold in last year’s sale to the partnership of Dunn’s Dou-
ble Eagle, Pitchfork-T and Wood Red Angus. Another maternal brother
sold to Ludvigson Stock Farms. We believe this is one of the strongest
cow families in the Red Angus breed or any other breed.
We have been working on carcass improvement for over twenty years
and have made great strides with help fromMichael White, Gene White
and Terry Spears who have been a carcass test herd for our genetics for
a majority of those years. Their cattle just graded 49% Prime & 100%
Choice or better – earning them $426 in carcass value premiums to sell
for $2475 per head. We have had lots of bull sales over the past 41 years
that averaged less than $2500. If you’ve had a sudden EPIPHANY that
your profit could be much larger if you started garnering those carcass
premiums here is a bull that can certainly help you because his carcass
EPDs are significantly better than the bulls that sired the calves men-
tioned above. You want to talk about a bull that brings carcass quality
to the table? Check out his incredible 126 IMF ratio along with an off
the charts MB EPD which help to give him a superb GridMaster index. I
can taste those prime steaks already. This multidimensional bull offers
so much more than just carcass however. He also brings double digit
calving ease with triple digit growth and off the charts STAY. Whether
you are looking to keep ‘em and breed ‘em or feed ‘em and eat’em this
full ET brother to ORACLE which sells as Lot 165 has you covered.
