If you would like to COMMANDEER your soft and cozy bed back during
calving season we have the bull for you. With his five star calving ease
and top ranking calving ease this deep made rascal should help you
get some shut eye during calving season. Remember when heifer bulls
were, well, just heifer bulls? At the R.A. BROWN you are getting multi-
dimensional bulls. Besides calving ease COMMANDEER’s indices show
that he can build an incredible set of replacements that are easy calv-
ing, fertile, long lasting and productive. They also show he can make
a heck of a set of feeders as well (126 IMF and 113 REA ratios). We
just set a new carcass record with our carcass test cattle that graded a
record setting 49% Prime and earned an astonishing $426/hd in car-
cass value premiums. This is a new record for Dale Moore’s Cattlemen’s
Choice Feedyard that is known for feeding high quality grading cattle.
The exciting thing is that this bull has significantly better carcass EPDs
than all of the bulls that produced those record setting carcasses. This
smooth made stud is also maternally stacked as his dam was one of
the highlight females in our sale and is now in the embryo production
for the partnership of Ludvigson, Strawberry Ridge and Bachman. His
pedigree is loaded with breed greats including AbiGrace who is near
15 years old and still in production. Her dam produced through age 15
& her grand dam through age 17. When you combine his Herdbuilder
Index, legendary maternal lineage and 5 star maternal rating this bull
may produce some of the most elite cattle in the business.
