Thanks for your interest in our Angus female sale. With the common interests and
similar type cattle it was a natural that we have this cow sale together. We believe in cows
that can do it on their own with the grass Mother Nature provides. We like deep-ribbed,
easy-fleshing, good-uddered females that work for a living and have the performance and
genetics to provide fast gaining, high quality feeder cattle.
This sale includes a complete dispersion of all the 2007-2009 cows from Marcy
Cattle Company and all 2007-2011 cows from M Diamond Angus. Donor cows, embryos,
semen, plus top young cows sell. Don’t overlook the 55 bred heifers, they are some of our
best. Many of the females selling are dams of the bulls that averaged $8,408 in the 54th
Marcy Cattle Company Sale and $7,458 in the 23rd M Diamond Bull Sale in 2015. They are
the kind that can make a foundation for anyone wanting to raise top quality Angus cattle.
For us it is important that the cows be able to raise a big calf on their own - no creep
feed is used with our registered herds. The foundation females selling are the kind that are
hard to let go of. They have passed all the tests for production, fertility, type, quality and
have stayed on that fast track with the test of time. This is an offering with proven genetics
for generation after generation.
Past reports from females sold privately or in sales for many years have been very
positive. We are confident these females can work for you and be a valuable addition to
your program. Cattle are available for viewing at any of the ranches and starting November
4th will be at Gordon Livestock.
